Farmer's Cabin. Nestled in the trees, this solid log get away is rustic and spacious. 3 bed rooms, with a jacuzzi tub in the master bath along with a king bed. The two bedrooms downstairs have 2 twin beds, a futon in the loft and a sofa bed in the living room. Plenty of decks and a loft area for relaxing and game playing. Turner's Treehouse. You lookin' for rustic elegance.....here it is. This solid log cabin is beautiful inside and out. This 2 bedroom sports a queen bed in the master, a queen along with a bunk bed in the second bedroom, 2 bath rooms, loft area, living/dining area and a kitchen to die for. Knick's Ranch. Yep, just like the name implies, you can bring your horses along to this cabin (approx 20X20 temp fence corral). Tucked back in the trees and adjacent to the national forest, you have access to some of the best trail riding/hiking in the White Mountains. $15 per night per horse...you feed and you CLEAN UP after them.

This cabin is a 3 bedroom (1 king, 2 queens), 2 bath and a loft with one of the best cabin feels in Greer (you'll know what I mean when you step inside). $255 per night for the first four people, $20 per additional person up to eight. Duke's Hideaway (somewhere in Greer) Let me tell you a little story about this cabin. Legend has it, back in the early 70's this property was owned By Louis Johnson. Louis was a partner in the 26 Bar Ranch located in the near by town of Eagar. Bear with me it gets more interesting. The other partner in the 26 BAR was a fellow named John (Duke) Wayne...... Okay, now your interested. Yep this is the movie legend, all around american patriot and hero to many throughout the world. You can't say cowboy without a flash of his image shooting through your mind. Now as the some of the locals tell it, the Duke would frequent Greer and toss back a few of his favorite (Sauza Tequila- ANEJO CONMEMORATIVO, available at the Tin Star Trading Post) at Molly Butler's while enjoying one of their famous steaks. After a night on the town, Duke would head over to Louis' Cabin and bed down for the night. Most of the time Duke would ride to Greer on one of his horses. Duke was a friend to many locals and to them he was just a good ole boy like one of them. When trying to locate pictures of Duke in and around Greer. Many of the people I talked to said they just never thought to take any " 'cause he was one of them". This in part, is why John Wayne loved this area, he could be himself, just one of the boys.

So, you have suffered through the story, now how about the cabin. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths (2 with jaccuzi tubs) plenty of views, lots of deck, wood burning fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom, large dinning room and kitchen, sunken living room with lots of windows, lots of decks w/ BBQ grill, sat T/V, wireless internet, let's face it is loaded with all the amenities, sleeps up to 12 (need more room?
